Project Management Approach
JTS
Project Management will organize internal resources and
materials necessary to complete projects in the allotted
timeframe, with full coordination with the customer. Some
key tasks the JTS Project Manager will perform include, but
are not limited to, the following:

Identify
critical path schedule, verifying material lead times and
necessary personnel
•
Stage
parts and necessary installation tools & materials,
verifying completeness to avoid re-trips
•
Coordinate
with customer personnel on project installation dates
•
Provide
customer with assignment documentation, test reports, and
other reports as required via email
•
Assure
site is cleaned and debris removed upon completion of work
•
Work
with customer personnel to evaluate installation quality,
in accordance with customer specifications as well as
applicable standards (e.g. ANSI/EIA/TIA) and codes (e.g.
NEC, OSHA, other state/local) which may apply
LAN
Cabling and Design
JTS designs and installs LAN cable systems and support
equipment for PC networks, mainframes and mini computer
systems. We also offer phone, fax and modem cable system
solutions. We insure that each installation meets or
exceeds all city and state codes, and the manufacturer's
specifications. Our technicians use the Fluke Networks
DSP-4300 Level III Digital Cable Analyzer and LinkWare
software to certify new and existing cables for compliance.

DESIGN
SERVICES
JTS offers design services for developing a physical layer
structured cable plant. This provides a migration patch
which any and all information systems can be built upon and
prosper with for years to come. All JTS Designs are
certified.
MAC
(MOVES, ADDS & CHANGES)
Often, JTS's existing client base and most future clients
find themselves in a constant state of growth and change.
The existing cabling infrastructure of our clients is a
design that is both flexible and purposely installed to
easily adhere to these inevitable changing applications.
The WAO’s (Work area Outlets) can be easily and quickly
relocated, expanded, or otherwise altered to suit changing
client applications. JTS maintains a department of
certified service technicians and fully stocked company
vans dedicated to this very important part of the
communication cabling business. Our clients will never get
a voice mail message when in need of fast response MAC
service applications. We are structured to be the ultimate
Service Company in a Service Industry. It will get done, it

TESTING
FOR FIBER OPTIC CABLE
Fiber Optic testing will be performed with an Optical Time
Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) or the Fluke Networks
DSP-FTA440 Gigabit Multimode Fiber Test Adapter (used in
conjunction with the DSP-4300). These instruments test for
power levels of multi-mode fiber at each respective
wavelength. Test results can be provided both in soft
and/or hard copy form. Trouble shooting services are
available for both outside and inside plant.
TESTING
- Category 5e and Category 6
Cabling
All installed cabling will be tested using a Fluke Networks
DSP-4300 Level III Digital Cable Analyzer. All data cables
will be tested to industry standards. All cables will be
tested for NEXT, shorts, opens, parity, crossed pairs,
length and attenuation. All test documentation will be
provided via LinkWare software that works in conjunction
with the Fluke.

Once a cabling project has been completed, JTS provides its
customers with a full documentation package. JTS realizes
the importance of proper system documentation; that’s why
JTS provides complete documentation of your cable plant
including the following:

CROSSCONNECT LOGS
JTS offers cross reference sheets which will help maintain
cable locations or WAO’s with room number or different
crossconnects fields. Easy to read logs shall be provided
and customized to meet your needs.
2)
CATEGORY-5e TESTING, ENHANCED CATEGORY-5e TESTING,
CATEGORY-6 TESTING
JTS uses the Fluke Networks DSP-4300 Level III Digital
Cable Analyzer the most accurate test available today.
Fluke testers are 100% EIA/TIA TSB-67 compliant. JTS can
even provide hard or soft copies of all cable link data.
3)
MACHINE GENERATED LABELING
A
properly labeled installation can save hours of frustration
for any IT manager. JTS uses only machine generated labels
for all patch panels, wallplates, and 110 type blocks. This
ensures legibility of all components.
